찌짐
About Us

The sound of a pancake hitting hot oil.

That sizzle is called zzizim. It is also our name, our favorite sound, and the reason this kitchen exists.

Family Owned

Cooked the way home tastes.

Jeon is what Korean families cook when people come over. Rainy days, holidays, long weekends, any excuse works. Batter goes in the pan, the house starts to smell right, and everyone drifts toward the kitchen.

We opened ZZIZIM in Carrollton to serve that exact feeling. This is a family kitchen, not a chain, and it cooks like one. Recipes come from home, banchan is made in-house, and nothing is fried until you order it.

The Ritual

Scissors beat knives.

Every pancake lands whole, and every table gets scissors. Cut big pieces for yourself, small ones for whoever is slow. That is the rule, and we did not make it up.

Two hands clinking soju shot glasses over a full table
How We Eat

This food does not work alone.

Everything on our menu is built for the middle of the table. Pancakes get passed, stews get shared, and the banchan gets refilled. Jeon and soju is one of Korea's oldest pairings, and after dark it becomes the whole personality of this place.

Bring your family. Bring the coworkers you actually like. Come alone at lunch and leave with a gukbap opinion. All correct ways to use ZZIZIM.
